Adolescent & Young Adult Alcohol/Drug Risk Education Class In an effort to meet the community needs, AADC, Inc. is conducting Alcohol/Drug Risk Education classes for the adolescent and young adult (15-20 years old) population. These classes focus on the specific problems related to substance use/abuse of clients at this critical age. While these classes meet Illinois Department of Human Services, Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse requirements for DUI Risk Education, they are also available for clients referred due to other criminal justice involvement such as zero tolerance, possession of a controlled substance, alcohol/drug related use of fraudulent I.D.'s, etc. As well, these classes are open to referral sources from high schools, universities, employers, etc.
These classes focus on alcohol/drug misuse via a lecture and discussion group format and target the adolescent and young adult population members who appear to be exhibiting high-risk behavior. These classes are being offered initially at our Orland Park & Oak Lawn facilities. Special group rates and on-site classes are available for schools, community groups, etc. Contact the Orland Park or Oak Lawn office for Adolescent/Young Adult Risk Education schedules.
